Meet your Host

Latoya Clark

My story is not unique not new. My story is like many of you. Fibromyalgia stole my life took my joy and covered my dreams with this dark gloomy fear-filled thing I call life now. But I’m making moves to change the color of my life back to the bright enduring spear that was my life.

As a pain suffer day to day activities can easily turn into weeks of deep depression soaked in pain that never ends. The looks of confusion and even disgust from non-pain suffer cut like a knife eventually turning into a raging bull. The anger is from constantly not being understood and having to explain to no avail our pain and discomfort.
WE WEAR A SMILE AS PART OF OUR WARDROBE TO APPEASE THE PAIN-FREE. This BECOMES TOO HEAVY TO WEAR over time. SO I TELL YOU MY WARRIORS IT’S OK NOT TO SMILE. OUR PAIN IS REAL AND VERY TANGIBLE. IT’S OK TO FEEL WHAT YOU FEEL AND you HAVE no need TO DISCUSS WHY our mood is why it is what it is. ANY RESPONSE YOU FEEL IS APPROPRIATE TO GIVE DEPENDING ON YOUR PAIN LEVEL IS OK. THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CLOSE TO YOU AND TRULY LOVE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND AND FORGIVE ANY SHARPNESS OR FAULT. SO TODAY LET GO OF THE UNNECESSARY PAIN. IT’S Ok NOT TO SMILE.
